DeJaVu all over again. Only a decade ago, "Scent of a Woman," starring Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell was filmed on this very same campus. Emma Willard, an all girl's private school in Troy, NY, was ironically the setting for an all boy's school in The Palace Thief. This film stars Kevin Kline and also features Jesse Eisenberg, whom I had the pleasure of photographing on the movie "Lightning," as well as doing personal headshots for. I was waltzing around the corner, when Jesse spotted me and called me over. It was long time, no see and a pleasant surprise. We were called "background actors" in this one - the politically correct term for 'extras.' The scene we're in takes place in 1970. The funny thing is they didn't mind picture taking on this one and I didn't take half as many as I did on "The Time Machine." Go figure! | |
