ET CETERA: While Joe Glickman generally gets press for his filmmaking activities—his work on a documentary about vintage pop group Classics IV led him to help the group get their copyright back from a poseur band—here’s an update on his musical activities. He recently completed four months of studio work on a track called “So Long Baby,” originally recorded by the late Del Shannon. The reason Glickman toiled so hard on the track is that it will be included on an upcoming Del Shannon tribute disc alongside contributions by Electric Light Orchestra and father-son rockers Randy and Tal Bachman. Glickman, who sings and plays guitar, also is working on a full-length solo album. . . .
